It’s not done yet as Keenan retrieves it for Aylestone park and he goes for the curler inside the box… OFF THE POST AGAIN!!! It’s looking like one of those nights for Aylestone Park… 0-0 at half time.
Second half, 54th minute and Aylestone Park break forward with Samuels, he gets to the edge of the box and goes for it… AND HE FINDS THE NET!!!! Aylestone deservedly in front! 1-0!
65 minutes now and Aylestone Park get into the box on the right with Keenan who cuts inside and shoots… It’s saved but here’s the rebound… Brilliant defending! Desborough see this one off and clear.
Aylestone are pushing for a second but Desborough are growing more as the half goes on. 89th minute and Desborough have it down the left and it’s played across, it comes to the back post and it’s played back across… Number 15 is there about a yard out… It must be…… OH NO! HE’S MISSED IT!! Right at point blank and he’s somehow put it over… That has to be the worst miss I have ever seen live at a game before!
Aylestone Park are slowing the game down now as we head into added time with the corner flag trick… And they seal the points here tonight! A crucial win!

- The Ground: 6.5/10 – It’s all about the main stand more than anything! The clubhouse is really good and decorated brilliantly. Other than that there isn’t much else sadly as it is a facility for others.
- Expense: 10/10 – £6 is a price I’m always happy to pay!
- Overall Experience: 7/10 – Great to meet a friendly fan towards the end and it was a close game! I’m glad I visited!
