Kick Off! Straight away and Gomersal have the ball in the box on the right, it’s played across… And it’s tapped in at the far post!! Great start! 1-0!
Quite sloppy from both sides as the half goes on but Knaresborough are growing into the game more and more.
36th minute and Knaresborough come forward, it’s played to number 9 who takes a touch and shoots on the volley on the turn from just outside the box… AND FINDS THE NET!!! WHAT A GOAL! 1-1!
Knaresborough’s pressure continues… But at half time it remains 1-1.
Second half, 51 minutes and Knaresborough play it back to the keeper… OH NO! He’s missed it and it’s rolled in… TAXI!! 2-1!
3 minutes later and Knaresborough hit it forward and they’ve got a man in behind the defence and he’s in… And he scores!!! 2-2! What a game we have now!!
5 minutes after that and Gomersal have it on the left, it’s crossed in and it’s close to the keeper and he’ll collect… Oh wait no he won’t! He’s fumbled it in… That’s another howler! Who would be a keeper eh? 3-2!
74th minute and there’s trouble amongst the players… Gomersal’s number 9 is off! Grabbing the Knaresborough man by the throat was never a good idea no matter if he stamped on your foot or not!
Free kick to Knaresborough and they get it in the box, it’s loose and the keeper charges out… Knaresborough get there first… Penalty! Referee has pointed to the spot! Did a player get taken out there? Here comes the penalty… And he scores! 3-3!
Right at the death now and Gomersal have a free kick on half way, it’s lofted into the box and here’s the free header… He’s missed! Over! And that is game over! 3-3 finish!

- Overall Experience: 6/10 – Great to see Richard, Martin & Paul here today! The game was good second half but not so much first half… Didn’t feel like a 3-3 affair in all honesty but still a good game.
