The John Charles Centre for Sport, home of South Leeds FC based in West Yorkshire and play their trade in Step 6 of the Non League Pyramid in the Northern Counties East League Division One.
Formerly known as Middleton FC for the last 7 years and last season they finally broke into Step 6 from the Yorkshire Amateur League and changed their name and crest to South Leeds FC. Tonight they face Shelley FC in the Northern Counties League Cup.

Kick Off! Great to see Neil, Stuart, Oldham Groundhopper, Ryan & Berezai here tonight! 4 minutes in and Shelley play down the right, it’s played across low and the Shelley man slides in… OFF THE POST! So close to an early goal there!
24th minute and it’s been a poor game so far but here come Shelley down the right again, it’s crossed in… It’s a goal! The Shelley man gets there first and Shelley take the lead here! 0-1!
10 minutes later and Shelley are through on goal again here, he’s 1 on 1… But he’s put it wide! big chance there! At half time Shelley remain 1-0 up.
Second half, South Leeds looking much better this half than they did in the first half!
66th minute and South Leeds have a corner, in it comes… OH! It’s gone in! It’s gone straight in off the keeper’s hand… Howler! South Leeds are level! 1-1!
74 minutes now and here come South Leeds again, they get into the box… Was he fouled there…? Yes says the Referee! Penalty! he steps up… And scores!! 2-1!
82 minutes now and South Leeds are in again down the right with number 7, he gets into the box, can he seal it…? HE CAN! Great finish! South Leeds are surely through now! 3-1!
1 minute later and it’s the same player again in the same position… HE’S SCORED AGAIN!! 4-1!
Into Stoppage time now and South Leeds have it on the edge of the box… It’s a foul and South Leeds have a free kick on the edge of the box… Oh wait no they don’t, it was inside the box says the Referee and it will be another Penalty! Number 7 to complete his hat-trick… SAVED… But he’ll get the rebound…? Yes he will! 5-1!

- Atmosphere: 2/10 – Dead for the most but a few cheers towards the end.
- The Ground: 4.5/10 – It is an athletics ground which I’m not too fond of but the stand is really good but we were only restricted to the stand, I really liked the Leeds skyline view from the stand though!
- Expense: 10/10 – £6 for 6 goals!
- Overall Experience: 6/10 – Great to see everyone here tonight and for the goals at the end in particular!
