13th minute and Leeds come forward and they get into the box on the left… Uh-oh! Was that a push? Yes says the Referee! Penalty to Leeds! Summerville steps up… Great Penalty! Leeds are level! 1-1!
5 minutes later and Leeds come again, they have it down the left and it’s played across the middle and Patrick Bamford is there… He’s scored… The one man Middlesbrough did not want to score has just put Leeds ahead… What a turnaround! 1-2!
30th minute and here come Middlesbrough, Latte Lath has it on the edge of the box and he makes space for the shot… HE’S SCORED!! What a finish!! Boro level it! What a game this is! 2-2!
39 minutes now and Leeds come again, it’s a through ball into the box for Gnonto who’s in… He’s scored… Leeds lead again! What on earth is happening?! 2-3!
2 minutes later and here come Leeds again, it’s played to Bamford in the box on the right… Surely… Brilliant save! A crazy half of football ends 2-3!
Second half, Middlesbrough having most of the possession so far this half but aren’t creating many chances currently.
61 minutes gone and Leeds come forward again, Summerville is played through in the box on the left, Offside? Flag stays down and he goes for the far corner… And he finds it!! Leeds double their lead and is that the game now for Leeds United? 2-4!
“Marching on Together!” Leeds look like they are gonna see them win tonight…
87th minute and Middlesbrough play a ball over the top towards Latte Lath, he wins it and goes for the looping header… OH! HE’S SCORED! Middlesbrough have hope! 3-4!
Into stoppage time and Middlesbrough are throwing the kitchen sink at Leeds now… But Leeds hold on for the win!

- Atmosphere: 8/10 – Brilliant from both sets of fans tonight! When one fanbase was quiet the other wasn’t! Middlesbrough fans in particular have gone up in my estimations!
- The Ground: 7/10 – Good ground! Very similar to Derby County’s Pride Park but I’m still a fan of the Riverside!
- Expense: 10/10 – Priceless for a game like that!!
- Overall Experience: 10/10 – Really enjoyed that! The game, the fans and the spectacle! Brilliant!
