Another ground that has been on my hit list for a long time and now is a convenient time to go! Bromsgrove Sporting are the visitors today. I hope I am rewarded with a good game for picking today’s game when it could have been another!
So it’s just over an hour down the A1 and into the ground to see the last 20 minutes of West Ham vs Man United. £12 for this one… Pocketed… 0-0 when I walked in and West Ham have won it 2-0! Get in! But let’s focus on today’s game now.

14th minute and Bromsgrove break forward, Shaw is played in the box and he shoots… SAVED! Stamford are lucky there! “Who are we? RED ARMY!” Stamford fans in good voice still!
24 minutes now and Stamford have it on the left, it’s played into the box for Lee Shaw who makes space… And smashes home the equaliser!! Stamford are level! 1-1!
5 minutes later and Bromsgrove have a free kick on the right, it’s whipped in… It’s Taylor with the header… OH WHAT A HEADER!! Fantastic!! Bromsgrove lead again! 1-2!
Bromsgrove are looking for more… But at half time it stays at 2-1 to Bromsgrove.
Second half, bright start to the second half for Stamford! 52 minutes on the watch and they have a free kick on the right, it’s played in towards Rob Morgan… It’s there!!! Stamford are level again! What a second half we have here now! 2-2!
Stamford are pressing now! 73 minutes gone and it’s Bromsgrove with the ball on the left, it’s played into the box, Pais with the header… Brilliant save… And Stamford clear!
Stamford continue to press for the winner… But they will have to settle with a point.

- Atmosphere: 7/10 – Much better from the Stamford faithful in the second half but it was a bit dead in the first.
- The Ground: 7/10 – Pretty decent! Would like to see more on the other sides but still a good facility.
- Expense: 9/10 – £12 is a bit much but we saw some good goals out there today!
- Overall Experience: 9/10 – Would’ve loved Stamford to have won it!
