Oldfields Sports Ground, home of Uttoxeter Town based in Staffordshire and play their trade in Step 5 of the Non League Pyramid in the Midland Football League Premier.
Town vs City! But no real clear cut favourites you have to say with both teams doing rather well in their respective campaigns so far! So it’s through the Peak District and into Staffordshire with around 15 minutes to go before kick off.

Kick Off! A feisty start to the game with challenges flying in! 5 minutes in and Lichfield have the ball on the edge of the box and the shot comes in… Straight at the keeper!
4 minutes later and number 10 is away for Lichfield and he’s in, he’s past the defender and he shoots… Saved! He should’ve scored there!
It’s a pretty dull first half as the game goes on sadly… 32 minutes and… BANG! OFF THE POST! Lichfield so close! Lichfield are starting to dominate this game and Uttoxeter will be praying for the half time whistle… Which they get! 0-0 at the break.
Second half, 53rd minute and a short corner for Lichfield, it’s worked to the other side of the pitch and it’s played in, it’s Dunn with the header… It’s there! It’s looped over the keeper and it’s been coming! 0-1!
61 minutes now and Uttoxeter play the ball around the back, it’s played back to the keeper… Oh dear he’s lost it and it’s going to be 2! What was the keeper doing there?! Smith with the goal for Lichfield and probably the easiest finish he’ll have all season! 0-2!
74th minute now and Uttoxeter have a corner, it’s played in… It comes back to the taker who gets past his man and he plays it across low… And it’s tapped home! Uttoxeter are back in it! What a game we have now! 1-2!
2 minutes later and Lichfield have the ball in the box on the right, it’s played across towards the edge of the box and the Lichfield man gets there… It’s just wide! So close!
86th minute and Uttoxeter have a free kick right on the edge of the box, Conlon will step up… AND SCORE!! WHAT A GOAL!! He couldn’t have placed it any better!! Uttoxeter are level!! 2-2!
Straight from kick off and Lichfield are pressing, it’s great play here and Dunn is IN… OHHH!!! They’ve scored! THAT’S HOW YOU RESPOND!!! Lichfield look like they are going to win after all!!!! 2-3!
We’re into stoppage time now and Uttoxeter are pressing for the equaliser again, they get it into the box and it’s fallen for Undene, he makes space and he shoots… OH MY WORD!! HE’S DONE IT!! THEY’RE LEVEL AGAIN!!! What a second half this has proven to be!!! 3-3!!
Lichfield come again… But they’ll have to settle for a point… WHAT A GAME!!
