The warm ups are done and out come the teams! Ware vs Biggleswade! Let’s hope we are not worse for Ware!
Kick Off! 3 minutes in and Ware have a corner, in it comes… The header… Just wide! Close already there for Ware.
10 minutes now and Biggleswade have it on the right, number 8 cuts onto his left on the edge of the box and he goes for the curler… Good save! Corner, played short and it’s crossed in… The header… OFF THE LINE… It falls for a Biggleswade man to shoot… Blocked! Ware get it away.
38th minute now and Biggleswade are growing stronger in the game and they are away with number 10 who is in… OH! Brilliant last ditch challenge to force his shot wide for a corner, in it comes… Cleared by Ware. At half time the score remains 0-0.
Second half, a quiet start to the business end of the game so far…
Ware are looking the better of the 2 teams in this half but aren’t testing the keeper enough.
74 minutes on the watch and Biggleswade get the ball into the box from the right, the header at goal… Oooooh! Just wide!
4 minutes later and Biggleswade have it with the keeper… Uh-oh! Biggleswade’s number 5 has gone down now did Ware’s number 15 slap him there? I definitely heard a slapping noise as he ran into him… He’s off! Red Card! He’s just come on as well… Ware down to 10 men!
87th minute and Ware play down the right, it’s played in and surely…. NO! He’s missed! What a chance! The Ware faithful thought it was in but it’s not! Somehow it’s still 0-0!
1 minute later and here come Biggleswade down the left, it’s played in low… IT’S THERE!! BIGGLESWADE HAVE SURELY WON IT!! Number 15 running in at the near post and smashes it home! What a win this will be for Biggleswade! 0-1!
Ware push for an equaliser… But Biggleswade hold on! Tempers are flaring here…

- The Ground: 6/10 – Not too shabby! 2 good stands but nothing much else sadly. I’d say it’s above average.
- Expense: 7/10 – £10 a little steep for this level and not the best of games but a Red Card and a late goal is still good!
- Overall Experience: 8/10 – A friendly welcome and a late goal is something to savour in not the best of games so can’t moan too much at that!
