Wythy Town fans in great spirits now! A physio and kit man was all they had at the start of the season when the previous manager left for Stalybridge Celtic! What a rebuild this has been as the Wythy Allez Allez Allez chant echoes around the ground!
33rd minute and Wythy have dominated so far, they have it in the box and it’s fired goalward… It’s blocked and it’s a scramble on the goalmouth… AND IT’S SMASHED HOME!! Luke Nock smashes Wythenshawe into a 2 goal lead! 2-0!
“Can’t stop the Nock! Can’t stop the Nock!” Wythy fans have one for everyone! They continue to shine but it stays 2-0 at half time.
Second half… The game has slowed down significantly and Wythenshawe look comfortable.
86th minute and Wythy are in with Tom Bentham bearing down on goal… And he seals the points for Wythy Town! Good finish! 3-0!
90th minute and Wythenshawe hit it forward, Bruno Severino chases it and out comes the keeper… Bruno gets there first… And he gets onto the scoresheet! 4 for Wythy Town! 4-0! Game, set & Match!
