Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC based in West London and play their trade in the Premier League.

The FA Cup is back! Today it’s a trip to London along with the Super Stag, Tom & Fez as thanks to a friend of Preston North End, we have secured tickets and we are in the away end here today! A bucket list tick for us all today!

So Fez is driving us down the M1 and into Watford Junction train station car park and we are getting the train into West Crompton. Here we are… Now what?

So killing time in a bar is proving to be quite a task as every bar in the area is strictly home fans only with no exceptions… The Goose on the other hand, they’re alright!

Time rolls on and it’s getting dark outside and to make matters worse… Mansfield have lost at home to Crewe… No top of the league for Mansfield today… In the meantime, off we go to Stamford Bridge. £32 for this FA Cup tie! Ok then!

The teams are ready as they walk out to the sound of Liquidator! “PNE PNE PNE!” The away end is bouncing already! Let’s hope for a Cupset!

Kick Off! 21 minutes in and Chelsea are in here and it’s Cole Palmer one on one… He’s missed! What a glorious chance that was! He’s gone for the lob and it’s just wide! Sitter!

28 minutes now and here come Chelsea again with Sterling who plays it in low… It’s up in the air and the header at goal… Saved! Enzo Fernandez got there but he couldn’t generate enough power there.

Preston are having a good spell now on the pitch and are taking the game to Chelsea! “Jump around if you hate Blackpool!” At half time it remains 0-0.

Second half, 58 minutes on the clock and Chelsea have the ball on the left, it’s crossed in, Broja with the header… It’s in off the post! Chelsea lead! 1-0!

2 minutes later and Chelsea have it on the left again and it’s crossed in again, it’s Broja again… It’s off the bar! So close for number 2!

66th minute and Chelsea have a corner, in it comes… Thiago Silva at the near post with the header… The keeper can’t keep it out and it is 2 now! That looks like game over now! 2-0!

3 minutes later and Chelsea have a free kick on the edge of the box, Raheem Sterling will take… And he scores!! What a free kick!! 3-0!

88th minute and here come Chelsea again, they get into the box and it falls for Enzo Fernandez at point blank… 4! But he’s Offside! No goal… But wait, VAR is in review……… This is going on for a while… Referee’s whistle and… Goal given! It is 4-0! Game, set & match for Chelsea!

FT: Chelsea 4-0 Preston North End
