But they weren’t dead for long as they reformed as Hereford FC keeping the same ground and are on their way back to where they once were. Today they face King’s Lynn Town who are currently in the relegation zone with Hereford in the play-offs. Home banker?

4 minutes later and Hereford come again, Tom Pugh has it from around 30 yards out and he goes for goal… OHHHHHHH!!!! IT’S SENSATIONAL!! What a strike! He curls it over the keeper and lands into the top corner! Brilliant! 2-0!
King’s Lynn starting to show a bit of fight as the first half draws to a close but at half time it finishes 2-0 to Hereford.
Second half, 50 minutes now and Hereford have a free kick right on the edge of the box, Tom Pugh will shoot… Off the wall and finds the keeper… Penalty! It came off a hand in the wall says the Referee and Hereford have a chance to make it 3!
“OLE OLE OLE OLE! CEESAY CEESAY!” The Hereford fans confident that Ceesay can score, here he comes… SAVED! Cleared for a corner… Oh dear! In comes the corner… Cleared by King’s Lynn.
58th minute now and King’s Lynn have it on the left, it’s crossed in towards Hughes at the back post… He’s scored! He’s managed to steer it home and King’s Lynn have 1 back! Could that missed Penalty for Hereford prove costly? 2-1!
78th minute and it’s all Hereford now! Obadeyi is in on goal… SAVED! Big save from the keeper there!
1 minute later and Hereford are in again with Williams, he cuts inside in the box and shoots… SAVED AGAIN! How many more chances do Hereford need here?
90th minute and it’s a throw-in on the left for King’s Lynn, it’s a long one into the box… It falls for Hargreaves running in… THEY’VE GOT IT!! Oh no Hereford… The few travelling fans go nuts and Hereford can’t believe it! 2-2!
Hereford have 7 minutes of added time to save themselves… But they can’t and they throw away 2 precious points…

- Atmosphere: 6/10 – Pretty good! Drum was banging all game pretty much but just wish we had the voices too!
- The Ground: 10/10 – Amazing! Old school with bags of character and a unique terrace at each end! You’re able to stand next to the pitch as well on the terrace and it’s just an absolute cracker of a place to watch football!
- Expense: 9/10 – £18 a bit steep for this level but we had goals and drama!
- Overall Experience: 8/10 – Quite enjoyed it! Wish Hereford had won but still a great game and day out!
